About

Colin is a dynamic and visionary leader. Although the Christchurch EPIC initiative is a challenge in addition to his Effectus consulting and management roles, he is motivated by his focus on the end result. A keen motorcyclist, Colin has toured around Australia and to most corners of New Zealand. As an active outdoors person, Colin enjoys mountain biking, snowboarding and tramping.

Area of Expertise

With his extensive database experience, Colin specialises in data governance. Always a planner, he has been an integral part of development of the Effectus IT strategy offering and is frequently involved as lead consultant to develop IT strategies and plans for clients. This has expanded into shared services, where he works with groups of companies across a region to get agreement on shared services feasibility and strategy. He works well with senior executive teams, helping them to establish IT Governance structures and policy, and improve process and accountability.
