Experience
Steve is a highly experienced programme and project manager, with over 20 years' working for New Zealand and South African businesses and organisations. He has performed programme and project management roles across the IT outsourcing and finance sectors. He is currently one of a small number of New Zealand based project managers studying for the PMI's Programme Management Professional Certification. He currently holds both PMP and Prince2 certification.
Over the last 10 years Steve has managed complex projects and programmes of work as well as establishing and managing the project management office for a global outsource provider.
About
Steve has strong management and interpersonal skills. He is passionate about continuous improvement and mentoring project managers to achieve key project outcomes. Steve is based in Dunedin and proudly supports NZ rugby with his family. He loves all that Dunedin has to offer.
Area of Expertise
With his programme and project management experience, Steve specialises in programme and project governance and management, including setting up and managing project management offices and introducing our Effectus Project Management Methodology. He has been actively involved in setting up and fine tuning our project management and project governance service offerings. Steve is respected by executives, and IT and business teams for his in-depth understanding of project management processes, and is respected by project management professionals for his depth of knowledge and his willingness to mentor project managers in the community.
