Effectus is an independent IT consultancy practice committed to assisting our clients to maximise the value they obtain from investments in IT.
Established in 2007 Effectus is based in Christchurch, with an office in Dunedin. Our primary focus is on providing independent vendor agnostic advice and support to our South Island clients enabling them to adopt acknowledged IT best practices to:
- Drive business alignment between IT and business goals
- Define, monitor, manage and improve the delivery of IT services
- Manage risk and meet compliance requirements
- Successfully implement and sustain change across their organisations
Our team of consultants all have significant experience in senior IT management and consulting roles as well as a range of certifications in key IT frameworks including ITIL, CoBiT, ValIT and PMI / Prince2. We take our own learning seriously and maintain our knowledge through active personal development.
At Effectus we are committed to sustainable business practice and in addition to the range of IT sustainability services we provide to clients we "eat our own dog food" and have active internal programs to reduce our own environmental impacts.
Our consulting philosophy is to "teach a man to fish". We work alongside our clients to share our methodologies and experience to allow them to upskill their own staff to progress improvements in business performance. We also recognise the importance of being there for our clients and utilise our local offices to provide onsite support.
